About Us
New Zealand has some wonderful spa experiences throughout the range of Destination, Day Spa and Natural Spring Spas.
The Best Spas of New Zealand is a tourism marketing network formed with the aim of promoting top quality spa experiences to both international and domestic visitors.
Membership is limited and is governed by a strict criteria developed in conjunction with Qualmark, New Zealands' government backed quality assurance programme. As well as being able to provide quality venues, equipment and a range of treatments, member spa facilities must meet customer service standards for staff and services.
The Best Spas of New Zealand network was formed in 2009 with financial assistance from New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and engages Philippa King and Geoff Burns to perform the secretariat functions. Both Geoff and Pip have extensive tourism marketing experience.
As an incorporated society, the network is owned by the members and is not profit driven.
